ABOUT NIMA NIA

Nima Nia is an artist located in Orange County, California. Nima started to draw and practice art as early as age 7. Inspired by his architect grandfather and encouragement of his parents he continued to learn different styles using various mediums.Nima immigrated to the U.S. from Iran at the age of 17 along with his identical twin brother. Distance from home and family drew Nima even more into art and painting. Nima enjoys realism painting and he enjoys going to art galleries and museums.Nima currently works as a research and development engineering director at Edwards Lifesciences designing and making cardiovascular implants to save patients suffering from cardiovascular disease. Nima holds his B.S. and M.S. in biomedical engineering from UCI, M.S. in Applied Science and Technology from UC Berkeley and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UCLA.
